Financial platform Airwallex today announced the completion of a $320 million Series H funding round, bringing its valuation to $11 billion—up significantly from $8 billion in December 2025. The round was led by existing investor Addition, with participation from Baillie Gifford, Hummingbird, QED Investors, T. Rowe Price, Hedosophia, Haun Ventures, Washington University in St. Louis, and Amex Ventures.
The new capital will accelerate Airwallex’s expansion into autonomous finance and agentic commerce, while further strengthening its global infrastructure and regulated market presence. The company also plans to continue scaling its team as it builds the next generation of AI-powered financial software. Co-founder and CEO Jack Zhang said,
The funding will enable Airwallex to advance into its next phase of growth, focused on autonomous finance, agentic payments, and the core infrastructure underpinning both.
Alongside the funding, Airwallex introduced two new products to support its push into these areas:
T:0 — Autonomous Finance from Day Zero
Airwallex unveiled T:0, a new AI-native financial platform designed to deliver end-to-end finance capabilities for businesses. From day one, T:0 automates bookkeeping, financial forecasting, tax, compliance frameworks, and reporting—offering founders CFO-level financial management without the need for system migration. The platform is currently in internal testing and will roll out more broadly in the coming weeks.
Airi — Wallet Infrastructure for Agentic Commerce
Airi is a new wallet infrastructure designed for agentic commerce, enabling one-click checkout for merchants. Early tests show conversion rates improving by up to 14%. In the coming months, Airi will evolve into a full-stack wallet infrastructure, supporting agentic payments, spending limits, permission controls, and multi-currency balances. It will be integrated into the Airwallex Agentic Commerce Suite, leveraging the company’s compliant infrastructure to deliver secure, end-to-end transaction experiences for both businesses and consumers.
Strong Core Business Growth
Amid rising demand for borderless financial infrastructure, Airwallex continues to see strong growth. As of March 2026, the company reached $1.3 billion in annual revenue, up 74% year-on-year, while annual transaction volume surpassed $287 billion, marking over 120% growth. More than 90% of revenue now comes from customers using multiple Airwallex products, reflecting deepening platform adoption.
