The Consumer Technology Association (CTA), organizer of the global consumer technology event CES, has announced that it will host CES Asia Unveiled Hong Kong on 14 October this year at the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, during the Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition).
Positioned as a platform connecting Hong Kong’s innovation and technology ecosystem with the global CES network, the event aims to help local startups engage with international customers, media and industry leaders while building momentum for CES 2027 early next year.
Jointly organized by CTA, the Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) and the Hong Kong Electronic Industries Association, and supported by Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation, the event will take place in the “Future Industries Zone” of the fair. It will bring together Hong Kong startups that have exhibited or plan to exhibit at CES, spanning a range of technologies and product categories. The programme will feature keynote speeches, technology trend forums, business networking sessions and a startup pitch competition.
Winning startups to gain access to Eureka Park
Notably, winners of the pitch competition will receive qualification and exhibition space at the Eureka Park startup zone of CES 2027, offering local teams a valuable opportunity to step onto the international technology stage. CTA’s management team will also announce the latest updates on CES 2027 and share technology trends worth watching over the coming year. CES 2027 will be held from 6–9 January 2027 in Las Vegas, USA.

CTA Executive Chairman Gary Shapiro said Hong Kong plays a key role as a global hub for innovation, entrepreneurship and business. By partnering with the Hong Kong Electronics Fair, the event can showcase Hong Kong’s technological and innovative strengths while helping innovative companies build market and industry connections ahead of CES 2027.
Hong Kong Electronics Fair expands international connections
Basil Wai, Chief Executive Officer of the Hong Kong Electronic Industries Association, noted that this year’s Hong Kong Electronics Fair (Autumn Edition), running from 13–16 October, will gather innovators, manufacturers and buyers from around the world. Adding CES Asia Unveiled Hong Kong during the fair period will help local companies further connect with the CES platform and expand into overseas markets.
In recent years, Hong Kong has continued to leverage CES to increase international exposure for its innovation and technology enterprises. At CES 2026, the “Hong Kong Technology Pavilion” jointly established by HKTDC and Hong Kong Science and Technology Parks Corporation in Eureka Park showcased innovations from more than 60 Hong Kong companies, covering areas such as artificial intelligence, digital health, robotics and advanced manufacturing.
For Hong Kong startups, this event is more than a pre-exhibition showcase—it serves as a testing ground for connecting with global buyers, investors and media. As local innovation and technology policies continue to focus on commercialization and going global, the ability to use international platforms such as CES to bring technologies, products and business models to market will be a critical step for companies moving from R&D to scale.
