Chery Automobile Co., Ltd. recently participated in the “2026 International Auto & Supply Chain Expo” at AsiaWorld-Expo, where it hosted a brand launch event and presented its latest lineup across four key brands—OMODA & JAECOO, iCAR, LEPAS, and LUXEED—alongside its second-generation intelligent interaction system.
Under the theme “Electrifying Global Expansion, Connecting Through Hong Kong,” the showcase highlighted a comprehensive product portfolio spanning hybrid, range-extended, and fully electric powertrains. Exhibited models ranged from family sedans to rugged off-road vehicles. The flagship LUXEED V9 MPV made a prominent appearance, with an on-site delivery ceremony held for its first group of “angel users.”
The LUXEED V9 offers a spacious 6,033L cabin, featuring dual zero-gravity rotating seats in the second row with recline and mechanical massage functions. Built on a dedicated flagship Tuling platform, the vehicle is equipped with ±7° rear-wheel steering and a low-speed crab mode for enhanced maneuverability. In terms of intelligent driving and safety, it incorporates an 896-line LiDAR system and will be among the first to upgrade to Huawei’s ADS 5 intelligent driving system. The body structure utilizes electromagnetic thermal-controlled die-casting technology and is reinforced with two 2,400 MPa ultra-high-strength side impact beams, 13 airbags, and a newly developed Angel Seat all-domain protection system.

Chen Chunqing, Executive Vice President of Chery International, noted that in 2025 the group achieved total vehicle sales of 2.806 million units, representing a year-on-year increase of 7.8%. Exports reached 1.344 million units, marking the 23rd consecutive year Chery ranked first among Chinese passenger car exporters. New energy vehicle sales surged to 904,000 units, up 54.9% year-on-year.
The brand is advancing a holistic AI ecosystem strategy, extending AI capabilities beyond in-vehicle intelligence into everyday life and public service scenarios. This initiative aims to accelerate Chery’s transformation from a traditional automaker into a global AI technology company. Multiple models are scheduled for launch in Hong Kong later this year.
