HONOR will officially launch its latest flagship AI folding smartphone, the HONOR Magic V6, in Hong Kong on 16 June.
From 12 to 14 June, the brand is hosting a three-day pop-up activation titled “HONOR Magic V6 Human vs Machine Showdown” at Sha Tin New Town Plaza. On the opening day, Hong Kong sports legends — boxing champion “Wonder Boy” Rex Tso, former footballer “Chan Seven” Chan Siu-kei, and fencing ace “Senior Fencing Master” Shawn Cheung Siu-lun — will be on site to put the new device through its paces in an exciting human-versus-machine challenge.
On-site Durability Tests
The three athletes will personally tackle three intense challenge zones designed to test the HONOR Magic V6’s robust build quality and engineering excellence:
- Punching Power Challenge: Boxing champion Rex Tso will deliver powerful punches to test the device’s body and screen toughness.
- Soccer Goal-Shooting Challenge: Former striker Chan Siu-kei will fire soccer balls at the phone’s screen to test its scratch resistance, wear resistance, and impact protection.
- Hanging Endurance Challenge: Fencer Shawn Cheung Siu-lun will test the structural strength of the device by suspending it under extreme tension.
