A new destination for Moomin fans heading north! Shenzhen Dapeng’s brand-new “Moomin Countryside Exhibition” officially opens on September 25, creating a fairytale-like Moomin Valley with 26 photo spots. Highlights include a seven-metre-tall Moomin figure, flower fields, rice paddies and a Moomin House, all designed for instant storybook-style photos.

Inside the venue, a limited-time stamp-collecting activity is available: visitors who collect six stamps can redeem an exclusive badge and postcards. Guests can also try Moomin-themed F&B collaborations and DIY a limited-edition Moomin canvas tote as a keepsake. Early-bird tickets start from RMB 19.9, granting access to more than 30 farm activities, including fish-catching in the rice fields, bubble battles, straw-sandal weaving and lawn sports. During the Mid-Autumn Festival and National Day holiday periods, additional free limited-time activities will be offered, suitable for both adults and children.

Address: 18 Dongshan Road, Pengcheng Community, Dapeng Subdistrict, Dapeng New District, Shenzhen (next to the North Square of Dapeng Fortress)

Visiting Tips:
It is recommended to arrive in the morning to complete the stamp-collecting mission first; visitor numbers tend to be lower in the afternoon, making it easier to take photos. Activities such as fish-catching and bubble battles can get you wet, so bring a change of clothes. The flower fields are expected to reach peak bloom in mid-to-late October, making it a good reason for a second visit.
