The Hong Kong Trade Development Council (HKTDC) will launch seven major lifestyle and licensing events next week (April 27). This year’s edition breaks new ground with the debut of a “Reimagine” thematic floor at Level 5 of the Hong Kong Convention and Exhibition Centre, alongside a new “Intellectual Property and E-commerce Support Services” zone. The initiative highlights Hong Kong’s role as a “super connector,” aligning with the country’s 15th Five-Year Plan and capturing opportunities from the global dual-circulation economy.
Covering gifts, home products, fashion, printing and packaging, and licensing, the events are expected to attract around 5,600 exhibitors from over 30 countries and regions. In addition to established pavilions, new participants this year include Uzbekistan, Iceland, Finland, and the UAE. HKTDC Deputy Executive Director Jenny Koo noted, “The synergy created by the seven concurrent fairs offers buyers a one-stop sourcing platform, fostering cross-industry collaboration while showcasing Hong Kong’s strengths in new quality productive forces and original design.”

Reimagine: Shaping Future Lifestyles
A key highlight is the “Reimagine” thematic floor at Level 5, connecting the Gifts & Premium Fair with Home InStyle. Through innovative design, cultural and creative experiences, and gerontechnology, the zone explores future lifestyle concepts. The Cultural and Creative Experience Zone partners with Pantone to present a curated home setting inspired by the 2026 Color of the Year, “Cloud Dancer White.” Addressing the silver economy, the fair also introduces the “Silver Q-Mark” and showcases certified elderly-friendly products.
Fashion and Packaging Innovation
Fashion InStyle features multiple thematic zones with a strong focus on material innovation. This year, the Philippines joins as a partner country, presenting unique indigenous materials. The NEXT@Fashion InStyle zone returns, with renowned designer Han Chong, founder of Self-Portrait, serving as consultant for a cross-disciplinary project. A fashion showcase on April 28 will demonstrate how cultural heritage can merge with technology. Meanwhile, the Hong Kong International Printing & Packaging Fair introduces new solutions in smart packaging and advanced materials, including RFID-enabled and anti-counterfeiting technologies, as well as plant- and bio-based packaging products.

Emotional Economy and E-commerce Support
The 23rd Hong Kong International Licensing Show will feature over 600 brands and intellectual properties, including Bandai Namco and Doraemon. This year highlights the “emotional economy,” leveraging IPs to build meaningful connections with consumers. The newly introduced “Intellectual Property and E-commerce Support Services” zone will bring together e-commerce platforms and KOLs to help brands expand cross-border opportunities.
To enhance sourcing efficiency, HKTDC continues its “EXHIBITION+” hybrid model. New this year is an AI-powered SmartBot, which enables buyers to search for products in real time and generate personalized itineraries, delivering more precise and efficient business matching.
