BLACKPINK’s Lisa Teams Up with HEYTEA as Thai Mango Coconut Sticky Rice Drink Arrives in Hong Kong

BLACKPINK’s Lisa and HEYTEA launched their global collaboration on October 15, with the featured drink available at stores in Hong Kong and Macau. Rather than a purely commercial tie-up, the partnership grew out of Lisa’s genuine enthusiasm for the tea brand. She has repeatedly shared HEYTEA drinks on Instagram in cities including Los Angeles, London and Bangkok, with each post sparking a rush among fans to follow in her footsteps.

HEYTEA recently expanded into Bangkok, opening its first HEYTEA LAB in Southeast Asia, setting the stage for the global collaboration. The signature drink, Mango Coconut Sticky Rice, takes inspiration from Thailand’s beloved mango sticky rice dessert, bringing a taste of Lisa’s home country to fans around the world.

A Thai dessert in a cup

The drink is not an entirely new creation: it first launched in mainland China in 2021 and has remained a firm favourite. It combines a slush blended with fresh mango flesh and a layer of coconut-infused sticky rice, prepared by hand daily, at the bottom of the cup.

Made with long-grain glutinous rice imported from Thailand, the rice is carefully prepared and mixed with coconut milk. The result is a drink with a soft, chewy bite and plenty of tropical Thai flavour.

Exclusive Lisa illustrations and merchandise

Beyond the drink itself, the collaboration features exclusive illustrations of Lisa in HEYTEA’s hand-drawn style, appearing on cups and packaging. Customers buying collaboration sets can purchase add-on merchandise such as stickers, badges and keyrings, while Thailand-exclusive items include scarves, hats and travel tumblers.

Rather than simply placing a celebrity’s portrait on a cup, the collaboration brings together product development, illustrations and merchandise to create a complete photo-worthy experience for fans.

HEYTEA now has more than 120 overseas stores in cities including New York, London and Bangkok, taking contemporary tea-drinking culture to a global audience. Fans in Hong Kong can head to their local branch to try the Thai-inspired drink championed by Lisa.
