Swire Properties is hosting its inaugural cross-community coffee festival, Coffee Voyage 2026, this October. The event brings together more than 40 top coffee and dessert brands from Japan and Hong Kong, including multiple internationally award-winning baristas, with over 12 brands making their Hong Kong debut. Proceeds from the festival will be donated to the Tung Wah Group Hospital’s “Ageless ‘Coffee·Move’ Programme” and the Agency for Volunteer Service, harnessing the power of coffee to strengthen community bonds and support social causes.

Three “Coffee Voyage” Destinations

Star Street Precinct (October 1–4): Star baristas will kick off the festival with a premium coffee experience in this art-filled, laid-back neighbourhood.

Taikoo Place (Cityplaza and Taikoo Place, October 8–11): Coffee culture meets everyday life and workspaces. Hotel EAST Hong Kong will introduce a Tokyo specialty coffee pop-up, and a “Coffee Run” event will be held on October 11.

Citygate Outlets (October 22–25): Lantau’s first coffee festival and the grand finale of the event, featuring Taiwanese, Japanese and Hong Kong flavours, with a special appearance by a mystery star guest.

Japan’s Master Baristas Make Hong Kong Debut

The festival boasts an impressive lineup, with several renowned names visiting Hong Kong for the first time. Highlights include Kyoto’s 70-year-old institution OGAWA COFFEE and EINS Coffee’s浪花一成 (Kazunari Nami), winner of the 2025 DRIP & DROP Latte Art Championship. Also participating are Japan’s century-old Nakashima Daishodo and local favourite Sugar Brothers, adding rich layers of flavour to the coffee experience.

Art Collaborations and Green Sustainability

The festival has partnered with celebrated Japanese illustrator Yu Nagaba to create exclusive photo-worthy installations and limited-edition merchandise. Embodying a commitment to sustainability, booths are decorated with coffee-ground tie-dye, and on-site upcycling workshops will teach attendees how to make handmade soap and body scrubs from used coffee grounds. Wastewater, coffee grounds and construction materials will also be recycled, integrating eco-friendly practices into everyday life.
