Hello Kitty fans heading north to Shenzhen have a new photo hotspot, with MINISO and Sanrio launching a themed pop-up exhibition, “Elegant Everyday,” at Star River COCO Park in Futian. Running from September 24 to October 25, the event requires no reservation and is open to walk-in visitors, making it ideal for a trip with friends or family.
Designed around the concept of a European manor house, the pop-up features a black-and-white palette accented by Hello Kitty’s signature bow, blending vintage elegance with playful charm. Its installations are perfect for photos, while the venue also showcases the new “Elegant Everyday” collaboration collection, including exclusive home goods, apparel, accessories and plush toys.
The exhibition is easily accessible from Hong Kong. Visitors can cross the border at Futian Port and take the metro directly to the mall, making it a convenient addition to a one-day Shenzhen itinerary. After taking photos and shopping, visitors can also enjoy the mall’s dining options.
