While AI companies lead the market, fintech firms are also performing remarkably well. Financial services platform Airwallex has announced the completion of $330 million in Series G funding, boosting its valuation to $8 billion—an increase of approximately 30% compared to its Series F funding six months ago.
The Series G round was led by Addition, with participation from T. Rowe Price, Activant, Lingotto, Robinhood Ventures, and TIAA Ventures. With the new funding, Airwallex aims to drive growth in the U.S. and major global markets, while accelerating recruitment of AI talent and product development.

Airwallex has shown strong operational performance in 2025, attracting significant investor interest. Key highlights include:
- Annual recurring revenue surpassed $1 billion in October, representing a 90% year-over-year growth.
- By October, total payment transaction volume doubled year-over-year to over $235 billion.
- Approximately half of customers are using multiple products, reflecting an ongoing improvement in product-market fit.
Airwallex holds 80 licenses and approvals globally, enabling clients to operate in over 200 countries and regions while promoting multi-currency settlement functionalities on a large scale.
In 2025, Airwallex further expanded its regulated business and local operational capabilities, successfully entering 12 new markets, including France, the Netherlands, Israel, Canada, South Korea, Japan, New Zealand, Malaysia, Vietnam, Brazil, Mexico, and the UAE, where it secured new licenses and launched products.
